If you are going for anything more sophisticated than a bare minimum web site, consider including a calendar page. This page can keep your web site visitors aware of upcoming sales, holidays, vacations, and temporary changes in hours and/or service.

There are now free calendar services on the web that make it easy for you to maintain your own calendar, which is embedded into your web site. We'll happily do the hard part for you (the embedding) so you can manage it yourself. Or, for a small fee, we can apply updates for you.
